Experience the perfect blend of rugged durability and authentic Western style with our Handmade Hair-On Cowhide Leather Chinks. Engineered for hard-working cowboys, ranch hands, and rodeo competitors, these premium leather chaps offer superior protection without sacrificing mobility. Each pair features a unique, natural cowhide pattern, ensuring that your Western gear stands out in the arena or on the open range.

Built by hand from high-grade leather, these chinks are designed to withstand the daily rigors of ranch life, brush clearing, and riding, while giving you that timeless, traditional look.

Key Features & Benefits
100% Genuine Hair-On Cowhide: Features a natural, eye-catching black-and-white cowhide pattern. Because no two hides are identical, your chinks will be completely unique to you.

Premium Leather Craftsmanship: Hand-cut and sewn from heavy-duty, supple leather that resists wear and tear while breaking in beautifully over time.

Traditional Frontier Styling: Styled with classic Western fringe detailing and a contrasting dark leather yoke adorned with polished metallic studs and decorative silver-tone conchos.

Adjustable Fit Comfort: Equipped with a durable leather belt strap and buckle closure system for a secure, custom fit around the waist and thighs, ensuring maximum comfort during long hours in the saddle.

Enhanced Mobility: The chink-style cut offers excellent upper-leg protection against brush, rope burns, and weather, while leaving the lower leg free for unrestricted movement.

Leather That Gets Better With Time

Every Takeko piece is made from natural leather or hide, so subtle variations in grain, texture, tone, and markings are part of its character. With regular use, the material develops a richer, more personal look over time—making every piece feel uniquely yours.

Made to Be Worn. Made to Be Used.

Takeko Leather products are created for more than just appearance. From hats and jackets to bags, chaps, belts, and cowhide pieces, every design focuses on a balance of style, comfort, durability, and practical everyday use.

Whether you’re dressing for the road, the ranch, an event, or simply adding character to your everyday style, Takeko pieces are designed to become part of your lifestyle—not something that stays in the closet.

 Simple Care. Lasting Character.

Good leather rewards good care. Keep your Takeko piece away from excessive moisture, direct heat, and harsh cleaning chemicals. Remove dust gently with a soft cloth and allow leather to dry naturally if it becomes damp.

For smooth leather, an appropriate leather conditioner can be used occasionally after spot testing. Hair-on leather and cowhide should be kept dry and cleaned gently without applying standard leather conditioner to the hair.
